The professional leather dog leash sold by Comsun is not like any leash I have owned. When I opened the box, the first impression was the high quality and craftsmanship. The leather is a very strong, natural material which is hand braided and stitched by talented craftsman. The leather tether is cleverly attached to a heavy duty steel alloy spring which is designed to act as a buffer between you and a pulling dog. If you have a strong, large dog, you know what I mean when I say that there is times when I thought my arm was pulled out of the socket. The buffer on the end of the leash provides just the right amount of “give” to prevent injuries. I am finding out that this is a very good leash for training as well.
I love how this feels in my hand, like a familiar leather glove. It is soft and supple. The metal clip easily attaches to my dog’s harness or collar. The leash is strong enough to hold a 220lb dog. I have always had Labrador Retrievers which I consider large breed; however the heaviest one was 125lbs. I can’t imagine a dog double that size and strength! My latest addition is a Lab/Sheppard Mix, currently 8 months old and growing. Considering that he is not yet fully grown, I can attest to his strength.
The Leather lead is 4.3"l. I would have liked if it was 6', however for training purposes it is long enough. Although I acquired this leash for the purpose of testing, evaluation and review, I would definitely purchase it again and would recommend it to anyone with a medium to large dog.

Did you ever wonder why we call these bracelets Tennis Bracelets? So here is the scoop. There was an incident involving Chris Evert during a US Open match. She had been wearing an expensive bracelet featuring a single line string of individually-set diamonds. When the clasp snapped, she asked the officials to stop the match until the jewelry could be found. Ever since that event in 1987, this style of bracelet has been referred to as a tennis bracelet. Before that event, they were called eternity bracelets.
The Tennis Bracelet fromUMODE Jewelry isn't gold and diamonds but the style is the same. Although the bracelet is a replication, Umode does this admirably. I have the 6.5" size which fits perfectly. There are 28 hand set, multi-faceted Cubic Zirconia half carat stones that are designed to catch the light from any direction. When the sun shines on it, you can actually see rainbow colors. At night, it sparkles under the light. The base metal is brass which is chrome plated and highly polished to resemble white gold. The fold over style clasp is easy to finagle yourself so that you are not dependent on others to help you with your jewelry.
Although this bracelet was provided to me for the purpose of testing, evaluation and review, I would buy it again. . Based on my personal experience with the bracelet, I find it to be a very nice piece of costume jewelry. It looks like the real deal but at a fraction of the price. After several weeks of wear, there is no discoloration and feels strong. At under $20, you can wear it without the worry of loosing it. If Chris Evert had this in 1987, she would not have had to stop the game in order to look for her bracelet. The bracelet makes an excellent gift for graduation, Valentines Day, Birthday or Christmas. You can't go wrong with this one.
The brightly colored dog bowls are sold as a 3 pack, on Amazon from Comsum. These bowls are portable and made from Eco friendly material. These bowls are constructed with food grade silicone. They are durable, reusable and stack nice for easy storage.

The Menton Ezil sunglasses are made for a man but look pretty darn good on a woman too. I particularly like the coloring of these glasses. The frame is a bronze or copper color and the lenses also are bronze which complements them nicely. The frames look metallic, however they are a lightweight. The description says that they are metal, however they are so lightweight, I imagine they must be an aluminum alloy, but not certain. The nose clips are adjustable so that they do not slide down. The curvature of the lenses offers peripheral protection from damaging sun's rays. The polarization of the lenses offer anti glare and UV protection. They are very comfortable and fashionable. They come in a nice lined box with magnetic closure and a black drawstring storage pouch. They even included a microfiber cleaning cloth.

I am totally taken in by the "seen on tv" gadgets. They work so well in the commercials but not always so in real life. Our family eats a lot of watermelon in the summer months so when I saw a quick easy way to cut the melon, I jumped at the opportunity to test this gadget.
It seems that there are a multitude of companies who manufacture this utensil. This particular one was purchased on Amazon and sells for about $10. This is one of those fads that I think will come and go and in a thousand or even a hundred years from now, it will be posted online with the caption, "What is it?"
This slicer is made of stainless steel and is dishwasher save, unlike some other brands with a plastic handle. It comes in a nice box for gifting and would make a nice hostess or shower gift.
Now...let's see how it works
This was a first take. I wanted you to see my true experience with this utensil. You will have to excuse my hand on the melon (it's clean), I had a tough time holding it still. I believe that this can be useful with lots of practice. I felt that I wasted quite a bit of melon, left on the rind. I did get a few good slices. I would say it is a deal but don't expect to be a pro right off the bat. It is going to take practice. I imagine it may be easier with other softer melons or even as a cake cutter.
When I was a kid, we did not have air conditioning in the classrooms. We would take a piece of loose leaf paper and fan fold it, using our creation to keep cool. The teacher would tell us that we would only get hotter exerting ourselves and she was correct, of course. Today, kids don't know how good they have it. So, you would think that air conditioning was enough but it's not. We all like to be cool no matter where we are so this is where this little invention from Bon Venu comes in handy. A cooling fan that does not run on human energy. It runs off of your cell phone!
There are 2 things that I bothered me about this gadget. The first is that there is not an on and off switch. It turns on as soon as you plug it into your phone. The second is the fact that my Android phone has the port at the bottom so I have to turn the phone upside down or hold it up high to fan my face and I cannot use the phone while the fan is on.
I really like this little gadget. It is cute, colorful and really cool. It sells for about $11 on Amazon. I think it is worth the price.
I received the Bon Venu Micro usb fan for testing and evaluation purposes, All opinions expressed are my own.
